Volunteering with BASF ...

BASF is always in need of volunteers. Our volunteers help in a variety of ways:

  • We urgently need volunteer drivers to transport stroke affected individuals to and from their weekly stroke group. A mileage allowance is paid.
  • Volunteers provide valuable assistance with our activities at the groups. One to one help is often needed, particularly for those with communication loss. Stroke groups help to prevent social isolation and a regular comment is "the stroke group is my lifeline and my only outing of the week".
  • Maybe you would like to fundraise for us, either helping out practically with fundraising events or holding a fundraising event yourself for our organisation.
  • You may have some skills that could contribute as a member of our Trustees, such as marketing, finances or a special interest or experience in stroke issues.

Volunteering is a valuable way to contribute to the community and also to make new friends.

If you feel you could make a difference to someone's life by becoming a volunteer for BASF please contact the office on 01179 647657.
